Warranty & Return Policies
Sharkbanz 2 is protected from defects resulting from any faulty workmanship or materials for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase.
We will replace your Sharkbanz 2® product in the event it becomes structurally damaged or defective. The 'Sharkbanz 2' Three (3) Year Warranty, does not cover loss, theft, deliberate damage or cosmetic damage that does not hinder the product's performance.
Sharkbanz Fishing (Zeppelin) is protected from defects resulting from faulty workmanship or materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
We want you to be happy with your Sharkbanz products. If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, we offer low cost returns for a refund within 30 days of your original purchase, provided it is unused and is still in its original packaging. Product box must be unopened, unused, and contain all packaging inserts. Packaging must be clean and undamaged. Please take care in properly packing and shipping your return. Product will be inspected upon receipt and evaluated for refund. Please allow approximately 2 weeks from ship date for return and funds to be processed and deposited into your bank account.
We kindly ask that customers do not send returns back via 'Return To Sender' as this will result in significant delays and additional fees that will be deducted from the final refund. Please contact us directly for assistance with Returns and follow the 'Return Instructions' listed below.

1. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for all returns processing. If purchased through a retailer, please contact that retailer directly.

• Order Number (Sharkbanz.com). This Order # can be found in your Order Confirmation email.

3. Please await return email and confirmation from Sharkbanz representative. You must receive this confirmation before mailing the product back or we cannot confirm your return and issue a refund.
4. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. We encourage you to properly package your product and request for tracking information from your designated courier.
We want you to receive and begin using your Sharkbanz products as soon as possible. That’s why we make every effort to process your order quickly. Sharkbanz offers free Standard Ground shipping on qualified orders. Valid on orders shipped within the United States only.
Once your order has been fulfilled by our team, a shipping confirmation with a tracking number will be emailed. You can download Route’s mobile app for iOS or Android to visually track your package and receive real-time notifications on its estimated delivery.
Once your order has been fulfilled by our shipping team (2-3 Business Days), a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number will be sent to your email address on file. Please check your Junk / Spam folder for this email if you can't readily locate it in your regular Inbox.
You can also download Route’s mobile app for iOS or Android to visually track your package and receive real-time notifications on its estimated delivery.
If it's been 10 Business Days from the time of your order (Standard Ground Delivery), and you still do not have your Sharkbanz order, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we'll be happy to assist.
We've made every effort to get your orders processed and shipped faster. 2 Day Express and Overnight orders should be placed by 10:00 AM PST for quickest delivery. Expedited orders placed after 10:00 AM CT will require an additional business day for processing. This excludes weekends and holidays. All "Delivery by" dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Shipping services and rates are subject to change without prior notice. 2 Day Express options may not be available in all areas.

Our mantra at Sharkbanz is to provide as many people as possible access to our products, and in line with this vision we ship around the world. For a complete list of countries that we serve please see below. There are a few countries around the globe we unfortunately do not ship to, since either local government policies (e.g., embargos) or logistical challenges prevent us from securely, quickly, and reliably send our products to.

How much do I pay for shipping?
The cost for shipping your order depends on your location, the size of your order, and the service level you choose for shipping (Express vs. Standard). Our commitment to you is that we are 100% transparent with all international shipping costs, both in terms of shipping rates as well Landed Costs (i.e., duties and taxes/fees). There will be no hidden cost for you.
What shipping service levels do you offer?
Sharkbanz offers both Express and Standard + DDP shipping on most international routes, and at checkout you can choose which one you prefer. For a few selected remote areas only Express or Standard shipping may be available, but that is the exception. Together with our international shipping partner we will find the lowest shipping rate for you so that you pay as little as possible in shipping fees for your order while ensuring your order will be delivered to you by a high-quality, reliable carrier.
How are shipping rates calculated on orders?
Shipping rates are typically calculated based on the weight and dimensions of your order. They will also vary based on the service level you choose and your location.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
The delivery time varies depending on the route/destination. Typically, it takes between 2-5 business
days for Express shipments to arrive. Standard shipments usually take between 6-14 business days. Note, these time ranges do not include any delivery delays due to customs clearance, extreme weather, or COVID-19.
Why do I pay duties and taxes?
Import duty is a tax collected on imports and some exports by a country's customs authorities. A good's value will usually dictate the import duty, and the duties also can vary by product category. Depending on the context, import duty may also be known as a customs duty, tariff, or import tariff. The duties are mandatory and must be paid, whether the fees are paid by the shipper or (as typically
is the case) by the customer/recipient. There are other factors besides the good's value that define the amount of duties to be paid, including trade agreements between countries as well as specific customs authorities. For example, some countries have minimum thresholds in terms of good's value below which no duties apply (AKA "de minimis" value).
In addition to duties, many governments levy a tax on imports. Like duties, import taxes are usually a percentage of the good's value. Also, some countries charge multiple taxes on the same good imported. For example, Canadian provinces charge a variety of taxes - from a goods and service tax (GST), to a harmonized system tax (HST), to a retail sales tax (RST), and some provinces charge multiple of these tax-types for the same import.
How do I pay duties/taxes?
Typically, you pay duties and taxes at checkout when you place your order. This way you not only see the total cost upfront before placing the order, but you also won’t have to pay again when the parcel is delivered to you. In a few instances, we may ask you to pay duties and taxes when the order is delivered to you at delivery because of a destination country requirement or it was not collected at the time of checkout.

Due to the distance, shipments will take a minimum of 5 Business Days (M-F) to arrive. Look for a shipment tracking number via email when your order has been processed. Note, some deliveries to Hawaii may be transferred to USPS for local delivery.
Promotional shipping (e.g., free shipping) is only applied to orders shipped within the United States.
Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”)
We may collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) such as your name, your contact information, your shipping information, and your billing information (such as credit card account data). We collect PII when you provide it to us through your use of the Sharkbanz Services, for example when you interact with our websites, place an order, or sign up for our mailing list. We may combine the PII we collect with additional information from other third-party sources.
We use the PII that we collect to provide the Sharkbanz Services (such as to process and ship your orders or respond to customer service requests), to analyze and improve the Sharkbanz Services, and to conduct marketing. If you register for email or if you provide your email address to us, we will send you emails about a variety of topics such new research, new products, special sales, promotional offers from our ambassadors or other selected collaboration partners, environmental issues, and shark news. Please see below for your choices regarding how we collect, use, and share your PII. We share email activity data with our marketing email provider to help them better target email deployments to consumers. While our marketing email provider has access to email address and email activity and may share bulk/non-specific activity data, no Email addresses or specific email actions are ever shared with other third parties. Should a consumer wish to opt out of this sharing, that consumer simply needs to opt out of marketing email from us.
We automatically collect certain non-personal information when you use Sharkbanz Services. For example, we collect information about the devices you use to connect to our services (such as the IP address of your computer or numeric identifier of your mobile device) and about how you use Sharkbanz Services (such as what time you visit our websites). We, and our advertisers and ad servers, may also collect non-personal information outside the Sharkbanz Services to measure the success of our advertising campaigns. We use the non-personal information that we collect for a variety of purposes such as to provide and improve the Sharkbanz Services, and to analyze and offer our advertising.

We and our third-party vendors or partners use analytics data for a variety of purposes such as to improve the design and content of our websites, to help us learn things like what pages are most attractive to all of our visitors and what promotions visitors like to see, and to gauge the success of our advertising campaigns.
Information You Post
All information that you share about yourself, whether PII or not, in a public open forum – such as on a social network – will be considered public information for the purposes of this policy. If you don’t want it to be public, please don’t post it.
We do not disclose your PII to third parties, except as follows:
• After giving you notice and an opportunity to choose not to share the information;
• To companies that provide services to us or perform functions on our behalf (such as processing credit card payments or taking orders) and have agreed to use your information only for the purposes we request;
• For us to send offers to Sharkbanz customers on behalf of our affiliated companies and on behalf of other non-affiliated partners (such as environmental groups and artists that we support);
• To other selected reputable companies, we may disclose your name and postal address (but not your email address or credit card information) so that they can mail you information that may interest you;
• When we believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with applicable law, legal process, and/or governmental authorities;
• When we believe disclosure is appropriate to enforce our Conditions of Use and other agreements, or to protect our rights, our customers, our property, our employees, or others; and
• If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, partial or total sale of assets, or other corporate change.
We may disclose de-identified, aggregated, or other non-personal information to third parties in our discretion. The Sharkbanz Services or our offerings on social media platforms may include commenting, forums, sharing, or other similar features. Information that you provide using these features may be available to other users or the general public.
With your PII – like the information you give us to fulfill an order – you have the option to change or correct your information and the choice of not hearing from us again. There are several ways you can control our use of your PII in connection with marketing and promotions.

You can choose to decline communications from us at the point that we request your PII. After we have collected your PII, you can choose to stop our communications or our service, or stop us from sharing your information with other companies for their marketing purposes. We do not operate or control this site, and are not responsible for the opt-out choices available there. The online Sharkbanz Services are not intended for the use of individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information online from individuals under the age of 13.
Our websites and App may contain links to third-party online properties. Such third parties have their own policies that govern their collection, use, and disclosure of information. We suggest that you read their privacy policies to learn about their practices.
Social media provides tools that many of our customers use and enjoy, and we include links to various social media platforms on our websites. If you interact with these social media tools through our websites, your experience on those social media sites will be governed by the privacy and other policies of those sites. So, the privacy settings you have chosen on those sites will determine the degree to which your information is made public. We encourage you to choose your privacy settings on those sites accordingly.
We have reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative measures in place to safeguard the security of your personal information. However, when you communicate with customer service via email or chat on our websites, these communications may not be encrypted. For that reason, we ask that you do not share sensitive information via these communication channels.

Conditions of Use
All Sharkbanz users should be aware that sharks are wild animals and unpredictable. Sharkbanz have not been tested on all species of sharks. Sharkbanz will reduce risk of shark interactions but there is no 100% guarantee that interactions will not take place. There should never be any attempt to entice sharks to interact with humans, with or without Sharkbanz. Any human activity in the water near sharks must always be considered as possessing a considerable degree of risk which is assumed solely by the wearer.
It is important for us to be honest about what Sharkbanz technology can and can not do. Sharkbanz will reduce risk of shark interactions but there is no 100% guarantee that interactions will not take place. This technology has been tested extensively on over ten of the most common predatory shark species such as Bull and Blacktip, which are responsible for the majority of "hit and run" attacks, and Sharkbanz are an excellent defense against these types of attacks. Great Whites are unique in that they are the only shark that acts as an ambush predator, attacking from a long distance at high speed. There is no effective way to prevent this type of ambush attack.
Sharkbanz use strong magnets and should not be worn in conjunction with pacemakers, defibrillators, hearing aids, and other medical devices.
Strong magnets can pose a pinch hazard due to their attractive force on each other and to any metal object. They can jump out of your hands and snap to a metal object with surprising speed. Keep away from metal objects you do not want to attract.
Magnetic fields can cause damage to magnetic media, batteries, and electronic devices, especially over extended periods of time. Keep Sharkbanz a minimium of 12 inches (30 cm) from any electronic devices, batteries, computers, cellphones and credit cards.
Sharkbanz should be kept out of the reach of children under five (5), and use for children older than five (5) should be supervised for proper use.
Sharkbanz should not be subjected to heat exceeding 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Excessive heat will result in permanent damage to the band and to the magnets and will not be covered under warranty.
Magnets are flammable and exposure to heat could result in igniting a fire or creating toxic fumes. Sharkbanz should be kept out of direct sun in cars or next to windows.
Users should never tamper with the Sharkbanz device and should not attempt to directly access the enclosed magnet. Doing so may result in injury and will invalidate any warranty on the product.
User acknowledges that Sharkbanz are a deterrent to shark interactions and that there is NO GUARANTEE of zero shark interactions. Sharkbanz use strong magnets and should not be worn in conjunction with pacemakers and defibrillators. Keep Sharkbanz a minimum of 12 inches from any batteries, computers, cellphones and credit cards. User assumes all risk.
